Seeking Applicants for Parks & Recreation Commission
Do you have an interest or background in parks?
The City of Maple Valley is recruiting up to two (2) non-voting alternate positions to serve on the City’s Parks & Recreation Commission. The alternate position is a non-voting position and serves to fill vacancies that occur other than through term expiration. The seven-member Commission meets at least bi-monthly, on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm at the Lake Wilderness Lodge.
The volunteers selected to serve on the Commission will work with City staff as it studies matters pertaining to parks, open space, natural areas, trails, and recreational facilities and programs for the purposes of informing, advising, or recommending certain actions to the City Council.
