For the Love of Maple Valley Event
An interactive community workshop
On Wednesday, April 4th, the City of Maple Valley will host an interactive community workshop, For the Love of Maple Valley, led by acclaimed urban promoter and community engagement expert Peter Kageyama, author of For the Love of Cities and Love Where You Live.
What makes Maple Valley lovable? Why do we connect emotionally with some places and not others? Why does it matter?
During this workshop, Peter will lead participants through discussions and activities aimed at harnessing what we love about Maple Valley into tangible action and results that will produce more citizen engagement, ownership, and emotional investment with our city.
What truly makes cities extraordinary? The people who love them! Come and be ready to learn how we can fall even more in love with Maple Valley and explore ideas about how we can work together to make our city an even more lovable place to live, work, and play!
This is an event for the entire family! Teens and children are welcome! Are you a commuter? Don't worry, late arrivals are welcome!
