Beach House Project Site Artwork
A love note from the Public Arts Commission and Tahoma School District students to the visitors of Lake Wilderness Park
The City of Maple Valley's Public Arts Commission and Dawn Wakeley with the Tahoma School District partnered with art instructors and their students to create temporary murals to place on the construction fence around the Beach House project site. The theme is "Lake Wilderness Beach Fun!" The students used pieces of Tyvek and permanent markers to create these fun murals for Lake Wilderness visitors to enjoy!
The City of Maple Valley Public Arts Commission thanks the young artists and instructors from the Tahoma School District for creating artwork for the fence around the beach house construction area. Also, a huge thank you to Parks & Rec Director Dave Johnson for the creative idea and Parks & Rec staff for all of their help with the project. What a beautiful way to christen our home beach area!
