The City of Maple Valley launches first official YouTube channel
The City of Maple Valley is expanding its media campaign by launching an official YouTube channel. The channel will feature various types of video content such as presentations, events, activities, and news features.
To access the City’s YouTube channel, go to http://bit.ly/CityofMapleValleyChannel and be sure to click the “subscribe” button on the right side of the screen. To be notified when the City uploads videos, click the “notification bell” next to the “subscribe” button.
“The launch of the YouTube channel supports the City’s public outreach effort, which also includes Facebook, eNotifications, along with news releases posted to our City’s website,” said Communications Specialist Jennifer Cusmir.
“Many people today rely on social media to learn about what is going on in their community. Although we are starting out slowly, with occasional uploads, we hope that YouTube will eventually grow into being another great way to keep our residents informed about the exciting things happening in Maple Valley,” Cusmir said. “We are very proud of our community and are committed to informing Maple Valley residents and visitors about the kinds of activities that make our City so special.”
