Why do people want to practice yoga? They usually want to bring some balance into their lives, to feel better. You can stretch, bend, twist and breathe while learning basic poses or improving on your own practice in a supportive yoga class. This class is ideal for beginners or for people who wish to nourish their own yoga practice. It is not a therapeutic class and cannot address the needs of individuals with serious conditions.
Bring a yoga mat and any other props you have. Some belts, blocks, and blankets are available for student use. The class is held at Lake Wilderness Lodge, downstairs in the Dance Room.
