The City of Maple Valley seeks to hire Limited Part-Time Operations & Event Assistants at our beautiful Lake Wilderness Lodge. Under the direction of the Event and Facilities Coordinator, position is responsible for the supervision of the Lake Wilderness Lodge and Conference Center facilities during weekday, weekend, holiday and evening hours.
Primary duties include:
The position requires:
- Lifting 20 to 50 pounds on a regular basis without assistance
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications or ability to obtain within one (1) month of hire date
The work hours for this position can vary from week to week and will involve weekdays, evenings, weekends, holiday hours, and split shifts. The schedule will be 10-20 hours per week, but will be no more than 70 hours per month. This position is FLSA non-exempt, and is eligible for overtime compensation.
The salary range is $15.00 – $18.00 per hour, DOE. Applicants must be 18 years old to be considered for this position.
