Maple Valley crime statistics now available online
Maple Valley, Wash. – February 13, 2019 - The Maple Valley Police Department has announced that the service CrimeReports.com, used to provide neighborhood crime data online, is back in service and Maple Valley data is now available. Service was temporarily unavailable while the King County Sheriff’s Office worked with the vendor to set up a new interface that is compatible with their newly deployed records management system.
The Crime Reports service is free to the public and allows citizens to receive automatic daily, weekly, or monthly email alerts if/when crimes occur near their home, office, local school, et cetera. Citizens can also view reported crime activity on an easy to use map for any location within city limits. The public can access the service by clicking on the Crime Statistics link at www.maplevalleywa.gov/crime-statistics.
CrimeReports.com will prove particularly valuable to those in the community who want to stay informed about what is going on in their neighborhoods and empower citizens to work with the police department to address neighborhood crime issues.
Questions can be directed to Robin Larsen with the Maple Valley Police Department at 425-413-5158.
