Maple Valley City Council awards contract for construction of new Farmers’ Market facility
Maple Valley, Wash. – March 10, 2020 – The City of Maple Valley’s City Council awarded a construction contract to Ceccanti, Inc. for the long-awaited Farmers’ Market Relocation Project at the City Council meeting on Monday, March 9.
Monday evening’s decision was the latest milestone related to the activation of the City’s Legacy Site property located at 25719 Maple Valley Black Diamond Road SE (across the street from Rock Creek Elementary School).
The project includes a new parking lot with 300 stalls and a 30 x 60 square foot pavilion for the Farmers’ Market, serving to activate the Legacy Site for community use and future development. The public may review the plans for the site at www.maplevalleywa.gov/F03_legacysite.
