How to Apply For Open Positions

Applications are only accepted for current position openings. A City of Maple Valley Application for Employment for the position must be submitted. Application forms are available here [PDF], at City Hall, 22017 SE Wax Road, Suite 200, Maple Valley, Washington, or by calling the City of Maple Valley at 425-413-8800. Most position openings require a cover letter in addition to the completed application form. The cover letter should include why the applicant is interested in the position and how their background matches the requirements for the job.

Completed applications may be mailed to the City of Maple Valley, P.O. Box 320, Maple Valley, WA 98038, faxed to 425-413-4282, emailed to human.resources@maplevalleywa.gov, or dropped off at City Hall, 22017 SE Wax Road, Suite 200, Maple Valley, Washington.  You are welcome to submit a resume in addition to the application, however please make sure the application form is complete.

Applications must be received at City Hall by 5:00 PM on the closing date of the position opening. If the position is posted as "Open until filled," the City reserves the right to not consider applications submitted after the selection process has begun.
