A Public Private Partnership 

The City of Maple Valley is seeking qualifications via this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from master developers interested in developing the Legacy Site, located in the heart of beautiful Maple Valley.  The City’s vision is to create a family-oriented town center with recreational opportunities within an active forest, public gathering spaces, and a year round public market with vibrant commercial and office spaces.   

The forested 54-acre Legacy Site is located at 25719 Maple Valley-Black Diamond Road SE, Maple Valley WA 98038 (Tax Parcel Nos. 2722069159 and 4127000805) and fronts Washington State Route 169.  The Legacy Site bridges residential neighborhoods to the north and commercial and town center zoning to the south.  It lies to the west of Rock Creek Elementary School and to the east of Lake Wilderness, abutting the King County Regional Cedar to Green River Trail

Sealed Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) will be received by the City of Maple Valley, Washington up to 11:00 am (local time) on March 13, 2020 for the Legacy Site Development Project.  Qualifications received after the date and time listed above will not be considered.  Sealed SOQs should be addressed to the following:
